2026 EGHC Summer Performance Training Block

By Invitation This year's performance summer training is back by popular demand, creating a space dedicated to cater for those who aspire to play at 1XI /2XI EGHC club level for the upcoming season. Applicants should generally be in the U16-U18 age categories and will be at a minimum of top-end Talent Academy standard. The sessions will be led by club performance coaches, including men's 1xi head coach Wesley Jackson and are designed to give players the edge to upskill ahead of the TA Cup, international summer fixtures, or a head-start on national league pre-season. Sessions will have a strong emphasis on technical themes to develop individual player qualities. Sessions are open to internal & external members. Programme outline: Runnning from Wednesday May 20 through Wednesday July 1 Wednesday nights from 19:00 to 21:00 Coaches from EGHC's Performance Setup including Wesley Jackson (M1 Head Coach) will lead the sessions All sessions will take place at East Grinstead Hockey Club except June 24 and July 1 which will take place at Lingfield College due to EGHC's pitch replacement.
