The crocodile is one of the most significant animals in West African symbolism — associated with power, patience and the connection between the earthly and spiritual worlds. This hand carved version, made by Abdulai and his team in Ghana, brings that tradition home in vivid two-tone mustard and orange. Carved from false rubber tree wood with the same precise geometric triangle pattern that runs across our full mask collection. Arms raised, tail pointed, white-ringed eyes — it has real character. The mustard and orange is painted by hand on each individual piece. At 52cm tall it makes a bold statement on its own or grouped with our sun masks for a layered display.
