Based on the original IDEA 8166 last, the width has been expanded to 4E, and the design has been refined to naturally conform to wider foot shapes. Thick cushioning is placed around the heel to securely hold the entire foot. The structure combines stability and comfort when walking or driving. ❷ Material and Expression The upper is made of Negroni's original shrink leather, made from rawhide from Hokkaido. The soft texture and deep grain pattern deepen with wear. The length and shape of the tongue have been adjusted for a modern balance, giving this shoe a fresh look despite being a reproduction. The silhouette is kept to a minimum, creating a neat, open-laced silhouette. ❸ Comfort and responsiveness The moment you put your foot in, the cushion that wraps around your heel holds it in place, and the forefoot naturally expands. The distance between the sole of your foot and the flat insole is kept constant every time you walk or pedal, so you won't feel tired even after long periods of use.You get a comfortable fit that responds to your push-down and release movements without the slightest delay. ❹ History and Background - Legacy The Anima is based on a model that once existed in the Negroni lineup. Its long-loved wingtip shape and wide last remain intact.
