Around the world Art Camp (June 22–26)

Ages: 7–13 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: 308 Jefferson St, Olde Town Clinton, MS Around the World Summer Art Camp will be an unforgettable experience for your child! Each day, we will travel to a different country through the work and inspiration of some of the world’s most famous artists. Frida Kahlo will introduce us to Mexico as we explore mixed media techniques, paint acrylic portraits, and create collages using natural flowers and other artistic materials. We’ll travel to Vienna with Gustav Klimt to create stunning artwork with gold paint and geometric patterns. In Japan, Hokusai will inspire us to paint with ink and design traditional Japanese fans. During our African Art Day, campers will make recycled-material sculptures and design handmade clay necklaces. On our Spanish Art Day, Picasso will teach us a few Spanish words while we discover the colorful, playful world of Cubism. Throughout the camp, children will enjoy a wide variety of hands-on artistic projects designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and self-expression. We also include fun creative games and interactive activities to keep the experience engaging, inspiring, and exciting for all campers. All art materials are included, so children can fully enjoy the experience without needing to bring anything. Short breaks will be provided during the session, and each camper is kindly asked to bring their own snack and water bottle every day. Perfect for young artists of all skill levels, our camp encourages imagination, cultural exploration, hands-on learning, and a lifelong love for art.
