Nazakat Series The Nazakat series is a collection of unique, one-of-a-kind garments that bring together handweaving, heritage printing, tailoring, and embroidery through deeply skilled artisanal processes. Created in extremely small quantities, each garment reflects Parvai’s philosophy of slow craftsmanship, artistic storytelling, and emotionally enduring contemporary Indian clothing. The Print Process Crafted using pure handwoven cotton for the kurta and pants, and handwoven silk cotton for the dupatta, the ensemble combines softness, breathability, and fluid drape with the quiet richness of artisanal textiles. The fabrics are hand block printed in Farrukhabad discipline of printing through an exceptionally layered and time-intensive process. Each design begins as an original hand-painted watercolour artwork inspired by miniature painting traditions and botanical studies. These artworks are then translated into multiple hand-carved wooden blocks by master artisans. The printing process involves: Multi Block Patterns Multiple layers of printing Tonal colour blending Precision block registration Complex layered compositions Rather than appearing as flat commercial prints, the textiles retain the softness, movement, and painterly quality of the original artworks. The Tailoring & Embroidery Once printed, the fabrics undergo a highly detailed process of garment imagining, pattern development, and tailoring at Parvai. Every element from panel placement and proportions to borders, armholes, pockets, and finishing is thoughtfully considered to create balance, comfort, and elegance. The garments are stitched by seasoned traditional tailoring families whose knowledge has been shaped through generations of garment making. Fine embroidery using cotton and silk threads, glass bead detailing, and handcrafted embellishments are executed by generational embroidery artisans who bring extraordinary finesse to every piece. Both the kurta and pants feature functional pockets, refined French seams, and relaxed yet flattering silhouettes designed for softness and ease in wear.
