It unfolds with layers of dark-fleshed fruit, incense, new leather, licorice, and mocha, complemented by a subtle sweetness from oak. While the youthful tannins are currently assertive, they hint at the wine's aging potential. Patience will be rewarded, as there's profound depth and intensity awaiting development.Ageing/Vinification: Maceration and fermentation for 15-20 days in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts. Aged 26 months in 70% Slavonian oak casks and 30% French oak tonneaux (mostly used, up to 8 years old)Vineyard: Located in the Neive zone, 350m above sea level from 3 ha plot of 25-55-year-old, southwest-facing Nebbiolo vines.
