Celtic Design 14kt Gold Signet Ring

This vintage signet style ring has been crafted from 14 karat yellow gold and features a Celtic design to the shoulders. The ring which likely originated in the United States has been crafted from 14 karat gold likely sometime during the mid 20th century. The shoulders of the ring feature a Celtic design which has a slight Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts feel to it. The central plaque section may have previously at some stage had a monogram in the centre which has been removed during the lifetime of the piece, however this allows it to be engraved by its new owner. The piece remains unmarked for a maker however due to it simply being marked '14K' leads us to believe it was manufactured in the United States, as this is a typical way North American jewellery was stamped in the 20th century. A lovely piece which is large enough for a gent to wear but could be also worn by a lady who likes bold gold jewellery.
