Cavazza, Creari 2023

The Cavazza Creari is an artisanal, limited-production white wine crafted entirely from 100% Garganega, a native grape deeply rooted in the volcanic soils of Veneto. Sourced from a tiny, single 2-hectare plot sitting 240 metres above sea level, this wine represents a pure expression of its unique sub-area terroir. Brilliant, intense yellow with shimmering golden reflections. A complex, multi-layered bouquet featuring exotic pineapple, mango, and peach, balanced by nuances of salted almonds, honey, chamomile, and a distinct hint of saffron. Full-bodied, dry, and intensely flavorful. It delivers a rich, creamy, phenolic texture framed by a vibrant, sapid minerality and a long, lingering finish. Serve slightly chilled at 13°C. Its robust body and structural complexity make it a perfect match for rich, savory dishes like Thai red curry, chicken korma, roasted turkey, grilled lake fish, and aged cheeses.
