We do this on every design that uses multiple wood species. Material and thickness Cuts from 1/8 inch (3mm) or 1/4 inch (6mm) wood. Use one thickness of wood or mix the thicknesses for more depth and dimension in the design. The painted flowers add a pop of color against the natural wood frame and backer.
