Buddah Wood Pure Essential Oil 15mL

Buddha wood (Ermeophila mitchelii), Australian grown, harvested and extracted. We support a farm in New South Wales who grows this beautiful wood. Buddha wood is also known as false Sandalwood and is a reddish-brown thicker oil. It has an aroma like whisky, smoke and balsam, with a woody tone like sandalwood. It is an exquisite woody oil which goes into perfume exceptionally well and has a fixative, base note quality. Also, used in aromatherapy and has extensive historical use with Indigenous Australians for sores and, cuts as it was known to have anti-microbial properties. The timber was used for timber posts by early settlers because it is termite resistant. More modern use is in perfumery, especially the woody scents.
