Vintage 60s Wicker Raffia Vegetable Basket • Casserole Holder

A super cute vintage 60s raffia/straw veggie basket or casserole holder. Woven basket with a net mesh lining and decorated around the outer with raffia embroidered vegetables, featuring peas, corn on the cob, carrots and radish. It's a fab fun item to decorate your vintage styled kitchen to either fill with veg or use as a pot holder. A collectible vintage piece perfect for summer cooking, or a retro decor. Round raffia straw veg basket with handles. Net fabric lining. Measures: 11" x 9" x 6" including handles. 9" x 9" x 3" excluding handles. Condition: It's been used and loved in someone's home for many years but in my opinion, that just adds to the character. The embroidered raffia is looking a bit shabby and there are marks on the woven wicker pieces but hey it's made of natural materials and is about 60 years old. It's still plenty of fun though. Perfect shabby chic decor piece.
