ALPHA60 X Brendan Huntley, Sense of Direction An exclusive collection of limited rugs have been produced by Alpha60 and Brendan Huntley, as a part of their collaborative exhibition, Sense of Direction. Each design is only produced in a limited edition of 12. With expertise in fabric and textile design and construction, Alpha60 have brought the works of Brendan Huntley to life — in rug form. These rugs are 100% wool, and hand tufted. The tufting technique allows for a variation of both depth and texture, notable across the works available. The rugs are available in two different forms, Flat and Tufty. The Flat form presents as soft, smooth and polished. The Tufty form presents, textural, shaggy and playful. The motifs in the rugs are familiar ones from across Huntley’s body of work: faces, celestial figures, clocks, butterflies and eyes, cut out and put together in bright primary and secondary colours. The individual rugs, as well as the 32m runner are available for purchase during the exhibition — with a 12 week lead time.
