Self-Drilling Floorboard Screws w/ Wings are made for connecting wood to metal (ex./ trailer decking boards to a trailer frame). They feature wings which bore through the wood decking before snapping off to allow the self-drilling tip to drill through the steel substrate. The unique XL1500 coating contains anti-UV elements that resist fading over time, maintaining a uniform color pattern, making these screws ideal for exterior use. The coating is resistant to heat and abrasion and will not wear off during screw installation. Saberdrive XL1500 coated fasteners are tested according to ASTM B117 standards for rust and corrosion resistance. Saberdrive screws are case hardened for the absolute highest level of true strength, eliminating any chance of breaking. They are tested under the toughest conditions to outlast all others.
