Pioneer Arsenic Replacement Cartridge (ATOMUS F11) Genuine ATOMUS F11 arsenic cartridge (part number CT-5020-0640RD-F11) for the Enpress PIONEER 8" x 40" cartridge tank - the replacement cartridge for our Pioneer Arsenic Removal System, both the standard bypass tank and metered tank versions. ATOMUS F11 is a binary mixed metal adsorption media in powder form. The powder format gives it far more surface area than granular arsenic medias, letting it capture arsenic in under 30 seconds of contact time (versus 3-5 minutes for granular media) - which is exactly what makes the non-backwashing PIONEER cartridge design possible. It removes both Arsenic III (arsenite) and Arsenic V (arsenate) simultaneously, with no chemical pre-oxidation, no air-injection valve, and no backwashing. Why This Cartridge Removes both forms of arsenic - As III and As V together, no pre-oxidation required. Most arsenic medias only handle As V. NSF/ANSI 61 certified media - certified for drinking water use. As installed in the complete Pioneer system, performance is tested to NSF/ANSI 53: 0.050 mg/L arsenic reduced below the EPA limit of 0.010 mg/L (10 ppb) for 125,000 gallons at 7 GPM. Non-leachable arsenic bond - captured arsenic stays captured. The spent cartridge passes the USEPA TCLP and California WET tests, so it's safe for normal landfill disposal. Wide pH window - effective from pH 5.5 to 9.5, a wider range than any other arsenic adsorption media, and more resistant to silica, phosphate, and vanadium interference. Snap-ring change, no tools - press the pressure-relief button, pull the snap ring, swap the cartridge, flush 10 minutes. Done. When to Replace The cartridge is rated for 125,000 gallons of arsenic reduction. For a typical household using 200-300 gallons per day, that's roughly 12-20 months of service. If you have the metered tank version, the LED umbrella cap counts gallons and signals as the cartridge nears capacity. If you have the standard bypass tank, replace on a schedule based on your daily usage - and either way, test your treated water for arsenic annually, because arsenic breakthrough is invisible, tasteless, and odorless. Compatibility Fits any Enpress PIONEER 8" x 40" cartridge tank. This is not a Big Blue cartridge and does not fit standard 4.5" x 20" filter housings.
