Italian Sculptural Vase

A little Italian eccentricity. Inspired by the traditional Serpente vessels of Deruta, the Serpe Vase is a wonderfully whimsical study in form and craftsmanship. Hand-shaped and hand-painted in Umbria, its elaborate curling handles and playful ivory splatter give a centuries-old silhouette an unexpected twist. Finished in a deep, glossy chocolate brown glaze, this sculptural piece is equally charming filled with a small arrangement, holding aperitivo nibbles, or simply standing on its own. A conversation piece in every sense. Approximately 6" diameter × 7.9" high (including handles) Made in Italy
