What makes it different A chevron sits between the vertical channels of the Vertical Channel bed and the radial fan of the Sunburst. It has direction and movement, but it repeats predictably rather than radiating, so it reads as pattern rather than as a feature. That makes it the easier choice of the two decorative designs: it adds interest to a plain wall without committing the whole room to a statement piece. The V-shapes create paired shadow lines meeting at each point. Under a bedside lamp one side of every chevron lights and the other falls into shade, which gives the headboard visible depth from across the room — something a flat panel cannot do at this scale.
