Honda WT20 2″ 185 GPM Trash Pump
Honda WT20 2 Inch Trash Pump for Job Sites, 185 GPM The WT20 is Honda’s 2 inch trash pump, designed for construction sites and other jobs where the water carries mud, sand, gravel and debris. It passes solids up to 13/16 inch and moves up to 185 gallons per minute, powered by a GX160 commercial engine with Oil Alert. Its heavy-duty full frame protects the pump and doubles as a tie-down point. Built for Dirty Water A conical cast iron impeller improves priming and discharge, with wide vanes to resist wear. The cast iron volute carries a replaceable stainless steel wear plate, so abrasion wears a low-cost plate rather than the casing. Silicon carbide faces on the mechanical seal resist grit. Easy to Clear on Site A quick clean-out port lets crews clear a blockage without dismantling the pump, and Honda supplies a multi-tool for removing the pump case, the priming and drain plugs and the hose coupling. Isolation-mounted engine and pump reduce vibration, so the pump does not walk away or bury itself in soft ground. WT20 Trash Pump Specifications Capacity 185 gal/min; 2 in ports; solids up to 13/16 in Total head 85 ft; suction head 26 ft; maximum 37 psi Priming 60 seconds at 16.4 ft Engine GX160, 163 cc; fuel 0.82 gal; 1.5 hours at maximum discharge Dimensions 24.4 x 18.1 x 18.3 in; dry weight 104 lb Warranty: 2 years residential, 1 year commercial Placing the Suction End Set the strainer on a board, a bucket or a bed of gravel rather than in the mud at the bottom of the hole. It pulls less silt and keeps the strainer from blinding. Choosing a Trash Pump The WT30 and WT40 pass larger 1 1/16 inch solids at much higher volumes, for bigger excavations.
