Roman Chamomile and German Chamomile are both so wonderful for skin that we've blended them together into one beautiful product ~ to bring you the best of both! Why two chamomiles? Most chamomile hydrosols feature just one variety, but each has its own lovely gifts. Roman Chamomile offers a sweeter, softer, honeyed aroma and is treasured for its gentle, calming qualities. German Chamomile brings a deeper, herbaceous scent and is especially cherished for soothing sensitive skin. By blending the two in equal measure, you get the loveliest of both ~ a calming, comforting hydrosol with a gentle, multifaceted aroma. The name "chamomile" comes from the Greek khamaimēlon, meaning "earth apple" ~ a nod to its sweet, apple-like scent. It's a plant that's been beloved and cherished for thousands of years, treasured by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans alike. This calming, refreshing hydrosol features certified organic, preservative-free Roman and German Chamomile hydrosols ~ grown, expertly distilled, and imported directly from France. Distilled from fragrant chamomile flowers, it carries the plant's gentle, comforting qualities in a soft, water-based form (much milder than an essential oil, which is exactly what makes it so lovely for everyday use and sensitive skin). Cosmetically, it's calming, soothing, gently cleansing, and toning. The scent is light, floral, sweet, and herbal, with notes of apple, flowers, and hay. The aroma is known to relax, calm, ground the emotions, help ease everyday stress, and uplift the spirits. This is a wonderful toner for all skin types and all ages ~ especially loved by sensitive, reactive, dry, and mature skin. A versatile product, it can also be used as an aftershave, added to bathwater, misted as an aromatherapy room or body spray, or used as a pillow, bed, and linen mist. It's lovely for calming moments too, making it perfect for bedtime, winding down, or soothing both adults and children alike. This hydrosol is preservative-free, distilled at low temperatures, completely natural, pure, and undiluted, with no additives. Please note that the aroma is naturally light (it isn't a strong scent like chamomile essential oil or fragrance oils) ~ no additional scents, additives, or fixatives have been added to alter its natural aroma. Ingredients: certified organic Roman Chamomile Hydrosol (Chamaemelum nobile) and certified organic German Chamomile Hydrosol (Matricaria recutita) ~ pure and preservative-free. Distilled in and imported from France. How to use: First, wash and dry your face with water or a gentle facial wash. Mist with 1-3 spritzes of hydrosol. If you'd like, gently press it into your skin. Allow to air dry, or gently pat dry with a soft washcloth. Finish by applying a facial serum or moisturizer. Use morning and night. For an added boost, layer this hydrosol underneath your serum while your skin is still slightly damp, to help seal in hydration and enhance absorption.
