Victorian Seance Necklace

A Seance came to be known a meeting of people who are gathered to receive messages from ghosts or to listen to a psychic medium discourse with or relay messages from spirits. Back in the Victorian era interest in the occult flourished and so did seance parties. Imagine a round table, dimly lit by candles, and a person speaking out to the beyond. Now, many were just an act. No real talent there but to grift off the gullible or the grieving. There are some, however, who of course can speak with the dead. And do... often. Our Necklace is 2 joined strands of faceted black beads holding a pendant with gothic detailing and an open window at the center. Made of recycled Brass and plated in a dark hematite finish set with jet black glass beads. 18" long with a 3" extension.
