AWS A5.1: E 7016-G EN 10204 Type 3.1 Description Basic coated electrode for high-quality welds. Good weldability in all positions except vertical – down. The metal recovery is about 110 % and very low hydrogen content. Weld metal extremely ductile, crack and ageing resistant, thus especially suited for rigid weldments with heavy seam cross sections. CTOD tested at -10 oC. Coating: Lime coated (CaCO3, CaF2, FeMn, FeSi).
