Our Fish, Shellfish + Tree Nut Bundle brings together three convenient products designed to make allergen introduction and ongoing maintenance simpler: Fish Powder, Prawn Powder and our Tree Nut Maintenance Mix containing nine different tree nuts. It gives families an easy way to regularly include foods that can otherwise be difficult to prepare, portion and serve throughout the week. Fish + Prawn Introduction Fish and crustacean shellfish are major food allergens. Current allergen introduction guidelines recommend introducing common allergenic foods during the first year of life once bub has started solids. Fish and prawn should be introduced separately, allowing you to identify how bub responds to each individual food. A gradual introduction may look like: Day 1: ¼ teaspoon Day 2: ½ teaspoon Day 3: 1 teaspoon Day 4: 2 teaspoons Simply mix the recommended amount into a previously tolerated puree or meal. Once tolerated, these foods can continue to be offered regularly as part of bub's varied diet. Fish Powder Our Fish Powder makes introducing and maintaining fish simple, particularly when fish isn't regularly eaten at home. Each sachet contains: 50g Fish Powder, approximately 17 teaspoons for introduction and maintenance. Prawn Powder Our Prawn Powder provides an easy way to introduce crustacean shellfish and continue offering prawn regularly without needing to prepare shellfish each week. Tree Nut Maintenance Mix Once individual tree nuts have been introduced successfully without an adverse reaction, maintaining regular exposure to all nine tree nuts can become challenging. Our Tree Nut Maintenance Mix brings them together in one convenient, finely ground blend.
