Red Floral & Blue Paisley Vine Suzani, Medium

A classic, richly coloured piece. Blue scrolling vines curl into paisley-shaped frames across this Suzani, each holding a hand-embroidered flower in deep red, blush, ochre and soft blue, set on a cream ground and edged with a scrolling blue border. Sourced through two artisans I've worked with for years, one in Bukhara, one in Tashkent, each piece is chosen personally for its craftsmanship, colour and pattern, so what you're looking at is genuinely one of a kind. Lovely draped over a chair or sofa, as a bedspread, or used to upholster a decorative chair. The later images show it styled in my own home.
