Malmo Prefinished Oak Internal Door

Malmo Prefinished Oak DoorThe Malmo is a bold contemporary door, its face deeply grooved and picked out with slim black inserts that lift the colour and grain of the crown cut oak veneer, a modern Scandinavian-leaning design that plays with texture, light and shade. It is one of our modern oak internal doors, and heads a Malmo range that also runs to an FD30 fire-rated version. The face is oak veneer over a solid core, so the grooved detailing comes with natural oak grain and warmth. It is prefinished and ready to hang, offered in six sizes across 35mm imperial and 40mm metric widths, each with a generous trimming allowance of up to 32mm off the height and width taken from its solid oak lippings. The solid core makes a more substantial, better-insulating and more stable door than a hollow core, and it sits neatly against oak skirting and architrave in a matching tone. The veneer is FSC certified, and the door carries a 10 year guarantee against manufacturing defects. The Malmo hangs on standard hinges and takes a lever handle, so you can match the ironmongery from our door handles and hardware. Hanging it on three hinges keeps a solid-core door well supported over time.Being prefinished, the faces arrive sealed and ready to use, though any cut-out for the fittings and any trimmed edge still needs sealing as you fit. A suitable hardwax oil such as Treatex is all it needs; our door treatments cover what to use, and the maintenance guide explains keeping it topped up.Key Product Information Bold contemporary face, deeply grooved with black inserts over crown cut oak veneer Prefinished oak veneer over a solid core, ready to hang Solid core for improved strength, stability and sound insulation Up to 32mm trimming allowance off the height and width from solid oak lippings FSC certified oak veneer, 10 year manufacturer guarantee
