This particular private barrel was matured in Barrel House 2-18, a barrelhouse that has produced a number of notable high-proof Jack Daniel’s rye selections. At 130 proof, the whiskey is presented at its natural barrel strength rather than being proofed down to a standardized bottling proof, preserving the individuality and intensity of the selected barrel.
