MAISON (FONDU) by Maxime Testu

Framed by moss green, faded rose, and softened brown, this contemporary layered house painting draws attention inward toward a small, red-roofed building held inside successive painted surrounds. The nested borders deepen the sense of enclosure, making the central image feel preserved, distant, and carefully set apart from the outer surface. In a bedroom, study, or living area, its earthy colors offer a restrained focal point with more emotional depth than decorative polish. Seams, softened edges, and subtle shifts in texture remain visible around the house, giving the surrounding layers a material presence of their own. A Design by Maxime Testu.
