Antique Floral Pearl and Ruby Cocktail Ring in 14k Yellow Gold

The central 6.6mm cultured pearl anchors this striking antique cocktail ring, framed by a vibrant halo of rubies (likely synthetic). The ring is crafted by hand, right down to the hundreds of tiny texture holes that make up the feathers (or petals or leaves?). You'll never see another ring like this and the history must be amazing! I wish we could see the first person who wore it! A word about the pearl.... Cultured pearls started to become prevalent around 1920. Rings crafted in this era could likely contain natural pearls. The only way to tell for sure is to send the pearl to a lab such as GIA. Since this has not been to the lab, although the pearl could be natural, I am calling it "cultured' and pricing it as such. Natural pearls carry a very high price premium.
