Kennametal T125 Double Venturi Nozzle

The Kennametal T125 is a double venturi nozzle with a wear-resistant tungsten carbide liner. The nozzle features a metal jacket and a 1-1/4" NPSM aluminium thread. The double venturi profile draws additional ambient air through openings in the nozzle. This produces a blast pattern that is up to approximately 35% wider than that of a standard long venturi nozzle, with only a slight reduction in abrasive velocity. The abrasive is distributed evenly across the wider blast pattern. The T125 is designed for use with a blast hose with an internal diameter of 25 mm (1"). The double venturi profile is particularly suitable for plastic, plant-based and other lightweight abrasives. The tungsten carbide liner also provides high wear resistance when used with common mineral and standard steel abrasives. The metal jacket protects the liner against damage from impact and being dropped. The T125 is the only double venturi nozzle in the range available in bore size #3. For extended blasting operations where a lower nozzle weight is important, the Kennametal SN125 with a BP200 SiAlON liner is a lighter alternative. BP200 SiAlON nozzles offer service life comparable to tungsten carbide versions at approximately half the weight. For a version with a 50 mm aluminium thread, the Kennametal T125 50 mm is an alternative.
