Mackerel Fish Breakfast Set – Hand Painted Irish Ceramic Gift

Looking for a gift for the sea lover in your life? Whether he’s a fisherman, a husband, a dad or a brother (or she simply loves the coast), the Mackerel Breakfast Set is a lovely way to start the day. The set includes a mug and a small square platter, both handmade from white earthenware and hand painted by Charlie Mahon in Cork with glazes and oxides, so no two sets are quite alike. The plate doubles as a saucer, ready to carry your mug, a scone or a slice of toast, and the mug has a generous handle that’s comfortable for bigger hands. A cheerful, practical gift that brings a bit of the Irish coast to the breakfast table. Measurements: Mug: 9.5 x 7.5 x 9 cm Small square platter: 14 x 14 x 4 cm Care: Dishwasher and microwave safe. As every piece is handmade and hand painted, no two are perfect, and there may be small imperfections that don’t affect its use. We recommend hand washing in warm, sudsy water, though as Charlie says, “my wife insists on using the dishwasher, to great success!”
