Warmup Powerbreaker RCD Spur

Warmup Powerbreaker RCD Spur The Warmup Powerbreaker RCD Spur is a combined residual current device and fused spur designed to provide electrical protection and isolation for Warmup electric underfloor heating systems. It provides a dedicated means of supplying and protecting the heating system, helping ensure the installation meets the appropriate electrical protection requirements. Designed for use with Warmup electric underfloor heating, the Powerbreaker combines an RCD and fused spur in a single unit, providing a practical solution where dedicated protection is required for an underfloor heating installation. Key Features Combined RCD and fused spur - Integrates residual current protection and fused isolation in one unit. 30mA RCD protection - Provides the required residual current protection for compatible electric underfloor heating installations. Designed for Warmup systems - Suitable for use with Warmup electric underfloor heating systems. Dedicated heating circuit protection - Provides a dedicated point of protection between the electrical supply and heating system. Fused spur functionality - Allows the heating system to be isolated from the electrical supply when required. Practical installation solution - Combines two essential electrical functions within a single accessory. Suitable for thermostat installations - Can be used to supply power to a Warmup thermostat controlling an electric heating system. Electrical Protection Warmup specifies that its electric underfloor heating systems must be protected by a 30mA RCD. The RCD continuously monitors the electrical current and is designed to disconnect the supply if an imbalance associated with a fault is detected. The Powerbreaker provides this residual current protection alongside fused spur functionality, making it suitable for installations where a dedicated RCD-protected supply is required. Technical Information Brand: Warmup Product: Powerbreaker RCD Spur Product Type: RCD / Fused Spur Residual Current Protection: 30mA Application: Electric underfloor heating Function: Residual current protection and fused isolation Compatibility: Warmup electric underfloor heating systems Installation: Fixed electrical installation Electrical Supply: Mains supply Fuse: Fused spur configuration Installation The Warmup Powerbreaker RCD Spur should be installed as part of the electrical supply to the underfloor heating system and connected in accordance with the relevant wiring regulations and Warmup installation instructions. Warmup's installation guidance specifies that the heating system must be protected by a 30mA RCD, either through a dedicated RCD or an existing RCD-protected circuit where the circuit is suitably rated for the additional load. The final electrical connection to the mains supply must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician. The electrician should confirm that the electrical supply, protective devices and connected heating load are appropriate for the installation. Suitable Applications The Warmup Powerbreaker RCD Spur is suitable for use with Warmup electric underfloor heating installations in: Bathrooms Kitchens Living rooms Bedrooms Hallways Conservatories En-suites Other domestic and commercial areas using compatible Warmup electric heating Important Information The RCD protection requirements and maximum connected heating load should be assessed by the electrician as part of the installation. Warmup's installation documentation specifies different maximum heating loads per 30mA RCD depending on the heating system, so the applicable installation manual should always be followed. All electrical installation work should be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with current UK wiring regulations and the manufacturer's instructions. Why Choose the Warmup Powerbreaker RCD Spur? The Warmup Powerbreaker RCD Spur provides a convenient combined solution for protecting and isolating an electric underfloor heating installation. By incorporating 30mA residual current protection and fused spur functionality into one accessory, it provides a straightforward way to supply compatible Warmup electric underfloor heating systems safely and appropriately.
