The Concorde series takes its name from the Concorde Lightweight Sprint, a nylon spike designed by Norman Walsh in the 1970s. It retains the streamlined silhouette and signature side detailing, inspired by the Concorde aircraft, and is reimagined with lightweight materials to reflect a spirit of innovation. In the 1970s, Norman Walsh created sprint shoes for the British Olympic athletics team. Made from golden suede kangaroo leather, they were the lightest nylon spikes at the time, weighing just 4 oz (approx. 113g). This reissue preserves the original detailing, featuring a Vibram sole — a partnership of over 40 years — and stitching from British brand COATS, blending performance heritage with modern everyday design.
