207 Walnut & Maple Edge Grain 20 x 14 x 1.5
We rarely make Edge Grain Boards with our left over strips, but they are just as pretty as our End Grain. An edge grain board is built with long strips of wood glued together laterally. An end grain block is comprised of lots of smaller blocks of wood glued vertically. You can learn more about the difference in this video if you are interested. End Grain boards are easier on a knife's edge and don't show knife marks as prominently. Edge Grain (sometimes called Face Grain) boards are less expensive because they take less wood and less labor. We made this one with Walnut and Maple to give it a little extra flair! We recommend cutting on one side and using the other side as a display and charcuterie surface. These make great gifts! Feet will NOT come standard on this board, but if you order a set we will be happy to install them for you. You can also order finger grooves, a juice groove and/or engraving at checkout.
