Cirrus

Designed by 2024 Japan National Contest 4A Champion Koyo Hashimoto, the Cirrus is an offstring model built to support players at every stage of progression, from first throws to advanced competition play. The Cirrus was developed around the core elements essential for strong offstring performance: spin power, stability, and maneuverability. Japan Technology carefully balanced the shape and weight distribution to create a yo-yo that feels stable and easy to control, especially for players still developing their offstring fundamentals. Smooth rotation, reduced wobble, and responsive movement all come together to make learning and improving feel natural. At the same time, the Cirrus has the performance needed to grow alongside more advanced players. Every detail, from the body profile to the overall balance, was tuned to avoid excess while delivering dependable control through technical tricks and long routines. Japan Technology also designed the Cirrus with long-term progression in mind. Because offstring setups often evolve as players learn new tricks and preferences, the stock setup was carefully chosen to work well with future adjustments to spacers, pads, and string combinations. Built as a complete all-around offstring model, the Cirrus is designed to take players from their very first offstring tricks all the way to expert-level performance with a single yo-yo.
