Scots Pine in a gallon pot (PSG-30)

There is almost nothing to hate about a Scots pine. They backbud almost better than any other tree, the needles grow naturally very short, they are very flexible and bark up almost as well as a black pine. Here at Left Coast Bonsai we are obsessed with Scots pine (if you can't tell). We are trying to spread to love with this release of some larger pines from our collection. This tree has had a few rounds of root work, but has been growing in the container for a few years. It is about 4-5 years old and has a future as a nice bunjin, or it can be grown into a larger tree.
