It pairs effortlessly with warm woods, brass, and neutral finishes for that collected, refined look. Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral paint is simple and easy to use. It is recommended that you thoroughly clean, rinse and dry your piece for example with sugar soap solution, scruff sand with sandpaper, wipe clean before painting. Paint takes approximately 15 minutes to dry and full coverage is usually 1-3 coats. No waxing or sealing required and fully cures after approximately 28 days. If you prefer you can finish your piece with a Clear Coat, wax or if you want a ultra tough finish choose Gator Hide which offers a water repellent finish. Dixie Belle paint is non-toxic with no VOC's. It can be used on a variety of surfaces such as wood, walls, glass, ceramics, metal, mirrors, fabric, concrete, plastic and leather, even Styrofoam and cardboard.
