Jamilla Tatreez on Brass Earrings - Single Color Embroidery

We love traditional Palestinian embroidery, called tatreez, and knew that if we could stitch it onto these lovely brass earrings, we could create a gorgeous, truly Palestinian style earring! Each earring takes around two hours to embroider, with careful hand-work to ensure tight stitches and a clean backside. We worked with artist Dalal Sarhan on this original design and embroidery. The collection is named after and inspired by Leelaja collection founded by Jamilla Hashem.
