Collection Nami draws its inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of wabi sabi where beauty is found in imperfection and in the use of natural materials. When it comes to handmade jewelry, nothing is ever identical and this collection celebrates that rather than hiding it. Each piece carries subtle variations in form and surface, making it truly one of a kind. Wabi sabi is a way of seeing the world that values simplicity, authenticity and the natural passage of time. The uneven edge and irregularity is part of an object’s story. In this philosophy, objects are not meant to be flawless but to feel alive through their texture and form. Designer Madara developed a new technique for Rozenthal to reveal a different side of porcelain, allowing it to feel both raw and refined at once. Matte finish is combined with drops of gold were added for a touch of luxury. Nothing is mass produced. Every piece is made by hand in Rozenthal studio where porcelain jewelry is shaped, fired and finished with care.
