Le Ragnaie Rosso di Montalcino 2022

Unlike many of the region's Rosso di Montalcino offerings, often composed of the barrels deemed inferior for Brunello, this is a site-specific bottling treated with the same measure of TLC that as Riccardo's Brunello offerings. A serious combination of freshness and drinkability, the 2019 makes itself known right out the gate. Pure elegance, with ripe red berries and mineral underpinnings met by zesty acids and savory spices. Wildly fresh and long, youthful in concentration, but overall very pretty and refined personality. A knockout Rosso.
