This beautiful wall unit, model WKS-192, was designed by Dieter Reinhold for WK-Möbel in the early 1960s. It’s a great example of mid century modern German carpentry. Overall set size is H: 200 / W: 203 / D: 37 cm. The system includes two cabinets in teak with interiors veneered in maple, six teak-veneered shelves, and three original rails made of gold-anodized aluminum. The shelves and the cabinets are hung on the rails using metal hooks on the back. It’s fully modular. All elements are 99 cm wide and can be arranged as needed. Hung, lower, higher, and interchanged. One of the cabinets retains its original WKS MOBEL label, confirming the authenticity of the piece. A small, elegant detail that gives the shelving unit a light and airy appearance is the trapezoidal shape of the shelves, which taper towards the front edge. One cabinet can be locked with the original key. This piece will be a practical and elegant vintage addition to any room. This set consists of: a sliding door cabinet H: 41 / W: 99 / D: 37 cm, a lockable cabinet H: 41 / W: 99 / D: 34 cm, 6 shelves 19 cm depth, 3 montage rails 200 cm each. The shelving system has been fully renovated. The wood has been cleaned and protected with thin layer of satin lacquer. The rails have been repainted. Our team has checked this set and ensured that all components fit together. It remains in excellent vintage condition.
