TC421 Digital Controller / Single output with Nightlight / All Progs

These controllers have to be extensively tested to make sure the preloaded program modes run exactly as you have selected. These full function controllers come with 3 time cycles and 4 different intensity profiles for a total of 12 ready to run plug and play options, giving you the ability to mimic seasonal changes as well as adapting to the growth lifecycle of your vivarium. This is the same TC421 controller available here as a combo unit with the Mean Well drivers, but this one is designed to run off the stock power supply that comes with a single light. Just plug the driver right into the controller and it will run. Channel 5 is set aside here for controlling a night light strip. Order this version of the Controller if you need the night strip option added to your single new light panel. *** You must supply your own 12v DC power source, or be using the stock driver that comes with all light kits sold here, or you can select a power supply separately *** The controller will handle on/off and the sunrise and sunset effects, in addition to the nightlight. It comes programmed with 12, 13, and 14 hour light cycles. You can also install the editing software on your PC to create programs yourself. It's very easy to learn. Custom programming is available at no extra charge. All my displays run on a 14 hour cycle, which starts at 6am and goes off at 8pm. Input is 12v DC, max 20amp. There are currently four light program profiles to choose from: "low", "med" , "hi" and "XX", they all feature sunrise and sunset effects with a taper up and down from midday peak intensities. Low: peak midday intensity of 100% only lasts for 30 minutes. Insitu vivarium owners find this one useful, as well as low displays (under 18" tall) Med: Peak intensity of 100% lasting for 2 hours at midday. Best for vivariums that are already grown in, or you prefer to have less light for the sake of the animals. Plants grow very well under these balanced conditions. Intended to most closely mimic solar cycles. Hi: Peak intensity of 100% lasting for 4 hours at midday, with more light on either side of that peak. Best for new vivariums and high light plant growth.
