Taking cues from guitars across the spectrum of Martin's lineup, this special ordered Custom Shop from 2024 features several upgrades. What looks to have started as a nod to the Martin Modern Deluxe series added a few choice upgrades to really push the tone further. A VTS Adirondack top paired and stunning wild grain East Indian Rosewood back and sides delivers loads of power and projection, bringing a big sound to 14-fret 000 body. The Custom Shop construction features upgraded protein glue for the bracing on the top, while keeping with modern adhesive elsewhere for a top that sings like an old friend but retains the sturdiness of modern construction. A carbon fiber bridge plate and liquid metal bridge pins delivers fantastic sustain and longevity. When combined with the vintage-inspired vibe of the VTS Adi top and protein glue, you've got a guitar with a powerful voice that is built to last. Here in Excellent condition, this guitar has nominal fret wear--hard to even see--and the smallest bit of finish wear to the top of the headstock.
