This is the first-generation AQUABRITE 45 — a 30 W RGB+W fixture in a brushed and polished aluminium body, still in stock and still doing exactly what it was built for. Red, green, blue and white diodes give planted tanks a full spectrum, and one button cycles three working modes: all four colours together, RGB only, or white only. At 45.7 cm it sits on a 45 cm rimless tank with the cord exiting at the rear. RGB-only pushes the colour in a display scape; white-only is the clean look for maintenance and photography. The timer button cycles 6, 8, 10 and 12 hours, and a fourth press cancels it. A Metal Body Built to Shed Heat The housing is aluminium alloy with a widened, grooved surface that spreads heat away from the diodes — cooler LEDs last longer, and the manufacturer rates them past 30,000 hours.
