Black Leather 3 Seater Togo Sofa
A masterwork of postmodern French design, this three-seat Togo sofa was designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset in 1973 and remains one of the most iconic silhouettes of 20th-century furniture. Fully upholstered in original black leather with original label, the sofa's distinctive channeled quilting, absence of a rigid frame, and dramatically low profile reflect Ducaroy's radical reimagining of the traditional sofa form — constructed entirely from polyurethane foam in varying densities, with no internal armature. The leather has developed a rich, supple patina consistent with age, lending the piece an authenticity that new productions cannot replicate. Foam retains good loft and structural integrity throughout. A singular acquisition for the serious collector or design-forward interior. Incredibly comfortable. Full 5 piece set available in separate listing along with other Togo pieces. Located at our Los Angeles Gallery.
