The Genelec 9402A is a system management device that connects Dante, AES67, and ST2110-30 audio-over-IP sources with Genelec Smart Active Monitoring systems. It converts networked multichannel audio into up to 16 channels of AES/EBU output, making it well suited to immersive and multichannel monitoring layouts up to 9.1.6. Dedicated connections for Genelec SAM subwoofers and an auxiliary stereo output also support bass-managed systems, headphone monitoring, or an additional stereo monitor setup. Designed for rack installation, the 9402A fits easily into modern studio, broadcast, post-production, and other networked audio environments. Dual Ethernet ports can provide redundant network operation, while Genelec Loudspeaker Manager software handles system configuration, channel routing, calibration, and alignment. Front-panel indicators offer quick confirmation of power and signal activity, and Intelligent Signal Sensing helps reduce power use when no audio stream is present.
