1980s Architectural Teal Satin & Black Crepe Evening Gown

This 1980s column evening gown is missing its designer label but still has its Ingrid Boutique label. Ingrid was a Montréal boutique known for importing high-end designer clothing. This dress was union-made in the USA of a lined black polyester crepe. It has futuristic teal satin sleeves, reminiscent of Pierre Cardin's 1980s designs and an unusual low back with a tiered collar. It has an 18" slit up the back of the skirt for ease of movement, and fastens with a Talon zipper up the back. There is a light mark on the back of the collar, but overall, the dress is in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
