Water Slide Transfer Decals for Ceramic, Porcelain and Enamel. NOT FOR GLASS Firing between Cones 018-016/ 1350-1465°F/ 730-800°C. Once applied, the decals need to be fired in a kiln. They cannot be fired in a home oven. These decals are food safe and lead free. The flags are printed over a base-layer white decal which allows for use on a wide range of underlying glazes and glass including dark colors. TIP: To apply decals as a pottery backstamp on an unglazed mug bottom in the the photo, you will need to use a third party glue to ensure the decal will stick to the bisque : IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT RED DECALS : While the ink is considered food safe by the manufacturer, all red silkscreen decals contain minute amounts of cadmium. Contact with food bearing surfaces should be limited to small amounts of red color.
