A Der Fuchs classic — a style we have been lucky enough to find several times over the years, and one we never tire of. Beautiful 1950s 1960s black wool cardigan, fully lined and lavishly decorated with hand-applied glass beadwork. Delicate flowers in soft shades of pink, blue and yellow mingle with green beaded foliage, while raised clusters of creamy faux pearls add wonderful texture and dimension. The embroidery extends around the neckline, down the button front and along the hem and cuffs, with further floral and pearl detailing across the back of the collar. Finished with small glossy black buttons. An especially charming example of the richly embellished knitwear that became such a distinctive part of mid-century evening and cocktail dressing.
