Whether you are looking to conquer your first ocean race or simply want to master your stroke, I am here to help you find your rhythm on the water. I won't ever presume to believe I am a World Champion or the best there is, but I bring real, hard-earned experience to your training. With over 40 years in an elite sporting background—spanning Triathlon, Ultra Marathon running, Kayak, Surf Life Saving, Surfski, and Outrigger—I understand exactly what it takes to perform at your peak, build lasting endurance, and stay injury-free. My coaching is backed by a lifetime of competing at the highest levels. My personal achievements include racing the grueling Molokai Surfski and Mauritius Surfski events, placing 4th in division at the Molokai Hoe World Championships (6-man), and representing Australia to take 4th in the 50+ division at the Vaa World Marathon Championships in Rio. Closer to home, I am a multi-time NSW State Outrigger Champion, securing titles across 2022 (Short Course), 2023 (Short Course), 2024 (Long Course), 2025 (Long Course), and 2026 (Short Course). I know what it takes to win, and I know how to teach it. Most recently, I coached the Mollymook Senior/Golden Masters women’s crew to an incredible victory in the Open Women division at the 2026 NSW State Championships. My coaching goes far beyond basic stroke technique. I am here to support you on the water and off, providing comprehensive guidance on pre-race training, hydration, and nutrition. Whether you want to master core rotation, build your engine, or confidently navigate challenging downwind conditions, we will work together to make you a smarter, faster, and more resilient paddler.
