A flexible silicone accessory designed to help users retrain their habits toward correct tongue positioning. Manufactured by B.T.I. Biotechnology Institute in Spain. The Lingual Sealer SLG consists of an intraoral component and two removable plugs. It is positioned between the teeth and the lips to promote a natural physiological position. Regular use trains the user to unconsciously maintain the tongue against the palate and the mouth comfortably closed, contributing to optimal breathing habits and improved overall wellbeing. Single-user product — not to be shared. When to use it Everyday activities: while reading, watching television, driving or working at a computer. Active training should be performed in 15- to 30-minute sessions, several times a day. Sport and wellbeing: helps train nasal breathing efficiency during low-impact activities and supports faster recovery after exercise. Habit formation and overnight rest: helps automate positioning of the tongue against the palate and maintain lip closure during sleep, promoting a quieter, more restful sleep environment. Instructions for use (step by step) Preparation: ensure that the silicone intraoral component and the plugs are clean and correctly assembled. Placement: insert it between the teeth and lips, positioning it between the upper and lower dental arches. Adjustment: the lips should be comfortably closed and the teeth in light contact. The tongue should rest against the palate. Activation: begin breathing through the nose and swallow saliva. Ensure that no air escapes through the plugs. With each swallow you will notice a slight negative pressure (suction) that stabilises the device. Maintenance: once you have swallowed, breathe calmly through the nose while maintaining this slight pressure. Active muscular tension is not required; the lips should remain relaxed but closed. Usage guidance Comfort first: use the lightest possible pressure that keeps the accessory in place. Avoid excessive negative pressure or strong suction without swallowing. Saliva management: excessive saliva accumulation within the device indicates that too much suction is being generated. Reduce the suction force. Gradual progress: learning to minimise pressure may take time. When used correctly, the mouth should not open spontaneously. On removal you will hear a slight "pop" as the vacuum is released. Lasting habit: the aim of these daily exercises is for the body to acquire and permanently maintain this correct resting tongue posture. Care and hygiene Cleaning: wash before and after each use with mild soap and a soft brush. Personal hygiene: brush teeth before and after using the sealer. Storage: always store dry in its case, in a cool, dust-free place. Protect from sunlight. Do not leave it uncovered, to prevent damage or bacterial accumulation. Safety information ⚠️ Choking warning: contains small parts (the plugs) which may present a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Supervision: use by minors must always be supervised by an adult. Never leave a child unattended with the device.
