Our founding level of support, named for the flower Billie Holiday wore and the one that perfumes an entire Southern block when it opens. Gardenia sponsors receive an engraved paver stone set into the garden path, a named mention in our press release, a listing on the Proud Roots page, a dedicated social post, a mention to our email community, and an invitation to the opening ceremony as a guest of honor. Bright Black is a commercial enterprise, so contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable gifts. Businesses can often treat sponsorship as a marketing or community expense.
