This red is predominantly a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, with smaller amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot adding further complexity and interest. Cherry/plum flavours and the suppleness of Merlot combine with the violet perfume and blackberry flavours of Cabernet Franc to produce a serious, yet eminently drinkable wine packed full of flavour and character. A versatile wine that can be enjoyed on its own or partnered with a wide range of different flavoured foods.
